Career Development
The Net Impact Career Development team is dedicated to connecting students with sustainability related career and upskill opportunities. Our career development initiative consists of three main programs: Green Jobs Initiative, Student Resource Hub, and the Green Jobs Board.
As sustainability continues to influence business decisions, it will be increasingly critical to prepare students for these industry needs. At the same time, sustainability is a burgeoning field, and it can be difficult to identify, as students, the experience and training necessary to take on these roles. Career Development aims to fill this gap and provide green skills, training/resources, and experiential opportunities for students.

Green Jobs Initiative
Sustainability is playing a transformative role in the global economy, shifting business priorities and changing how businesses operate. This is creating a demand for candidates with skills that enable business activities to become environmentally sustainable. At the same time, students and job seekers increasingly want to work at companies that are purpose-driven and make a positive impact.
Net Impact UC has partnered with the career fair production board to integrate the Green Jobs Initiative into the University of Cincinnati Professional and Technical Career Fair. This initiative highlights companies at the career fair that have green job related positions through additional identifiers and marketing strategies so that students can easily be connected with green job employers.
Green Jobs Board
In collaboration with Green Jobs Network, our webpage features exclusive access to the most up-to-date and competitive job opportunities in the region and across the United States. In addition to listings from the Green Jobs Network, our Career Development team works alongside our partners at UC and the surrounding business community to identify top opportunities for students.
